Sometimes women can be hard to understand. I know - I am one. While most men think that they have to go all out to prove to their wife that they love them, that's just not the case. When it comes to real love, it's the little things that matter the most. Here are some ways to show your wife that you love her.
Showing your love does NOT mean spending money on her. Money is not love, it's buying someone off. You can make your wife VERY happy, and spend little or no money doing it.
Your wife loves you - she may not understand you at times, but she loves you.
Show her that you love her by doing something for her. If you know she does something every day, like dishes or laundry, etc. Do it for her once in a while. This will not only show her that you love her, it will show her that you do see what she does every day, and that you appreciate it.
From a wife's perspective - I used to think my husband expected me to do everything. I felt like I was only in the marriage to be his maid. I have no idea why, but one day I went down to do the laundry, and some of it was already done. I thought I had lost my mind. I asked my husband if he had done it, and why. I thought he was mad because it wasn't done fast enough, or something. What he told me made my jaw drop - he said that he knew I was tired, and he saw that it needed done, so he threw a load in.
Doing something like that is such a simple thing to do, but it means SO much to a wife. It made me realize that - hey, I'm NOT just here to be a maid - he actually sees what I do, and wanted to help me out.
Another thing you can do is to pick some flowers for her. Not for her birthday or anniversary or any other special day. Just flowers for no reason at all, except that you love her. I've gotten many flowers over my lifetime, but the ones that I REALLY cherished, and will always remember, are the ones that my husband gave me for no reason. When he took the dog for a walk, he picked some and put them in a soda bottle. They may have been weeds, for all I knew, but they were the most beautiful flowers I ever saw.
You see, it's not WHAT you give her that makes it special - it's knowing that it came from your heart. These things may seem ridiculous to you, but to her, they mean more than words can say. If you really want to show your wife that you love her, please remember that it IS really the little things that count.
